Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where can I order Micmacbags?

It's great that you are interested in buying Micmacbags! Our products are often sold in shops throughout the Netherlands, but are also sold more and more frequently online. See if there is a point of sale near you, or shop at one of the many retailer webshops. If you still need help with anything, please contact us. We're happy to help you.

  • I cannot find a product at a point of sale or a webshop.

It is possible that a product is (temporarily) sold out at the Micmacbags points of sale. You can quickly find out whether the product is in stock at a webshop, but this can be more difficult in physical stores. We're happy to help you. Can't work out how to find a product online? Contact us, and we will help you look for a point of sale that has your bag in stock!

  • Can I return an item?

As we do not sell the products ourselves, we cannot accept consumer returns. To return an item, it is best to contact the point of sale for your purchase. We're sorry to hear you're thinking about returning a Micmacbags item. Can you let us know the reason? We will use your feedback to make our collections even better!

  • What is the warranty on Micmacbags products?

During the development of our collections, we apply high quality standards. This is a warranty in itself, of course ;-) However, if your Micmacbags product has a production error, you are entitled to a 1-year warranty. Has the period warranty expired? Then we advise you to contact your point of sale. They will be pleased to help you, and hopefully you'll be able to enjoy your Micmacbags again as soon as possible. Of course, you can always send us a message if you would like some tips.

  • Where are Micmacbags made?

That's an important question. All Micmacbags products are made in India. After we have designed the collection in the Netherlands, they are produced in our own factory or in a partner factory. Because Micmacbags is part of a larger partnership for leather goods, there is a lot of supervision of the working and environmental conditions in our factories. We believe it is important that our products are produced under supportive and fair conditions. This is why the majority of the factories are SA8000 -certified and have a Leather Working Group status. The factories where this is not yet the case are in the process of obtaining this certificate. On the Responsible Production  page, we keep you informed about our factories.

  • Oh no, my bag is incomplete!

Oops, that's not OK. Let us know what part you're missing. We'll fix it for you as soon as possible.

  • My Micmacbags is broken :(

Oops, that's not good. Did you buy it less than 12 months ago? Then it’s within the 1-year warranty period. In the event of a manufacturing defect, you are still entitled to a free repair. The quickest way is to take it back to your point of sale, where they will be pleased to help you. Is your Micmacbags older than 1 year? Then, of course, the bag can still be fixed. Contact your point of sale, where they will know all about the repair possibilities and the additional costs. You can also send us a message if you would like to receive some tips. In this way, you will be enjoying your Micmacbags again in no time!

  • My bag/purse got wet, what should I do?

Leather and moisture are not the best of friends, but if you take good care of your Micmacbags after such an incident, the damage may not be too bad. Do not use a hairdryer or another heat source. This will cause the leather to dry too quickly, which will not make your bag look any better. Don't do anything until the wet spot has completely dried. If some stains remain after drying, you can treat the leather with a spray. Choose the right spray to suit your leather type. You can read more about this here.

  • How can I take good care of my Micmacbags?

Leather is a beautiful natural product that benefits from good care. Leather is very tough, but it can obviously be affected by moisture, sunlight and dirt. To mitigate these problems, it’s always a good idea to treat your bag with a spray before use. On this page you can read all about our various types of materials, and the ways of caring for your Micmacbags.

By the way, the professionals at most Micmacbags points of sale are also willing to help you. However, you can always contact us.
